Clint - a vessel indeed

There have been rough times, and good times
that most certainly is true

There have been hard moments to swallow
and many tears spent with you

Time when we weren't sure
if we'd make it through all right

Then these two awesome words
became an amazing sight.

I read them today,
and a smile hit my face

Suddenly there was joy
filled in this place

Thin and tall were the words
that clint he did type

Does he remember that skinny by Christmas
was a really big hype!?!

I feel like he was a vessel
straight into our hearts

Because of these words
our friendship won't part

I think he's awesome
for being on the ball

I mean come on lets be honest
heck yeah we're thin and tall!

Megs is like uh huh...we are..we know it!

Kel is like I'm so excited you just said that!!! :)

The Man in the Middle

By: Clint Gerlek

So i've seen my name splattered all over this wall

By two gorgoeus women; so thin and so tall

But now i can feel i twinge in my heart

My presence may have torn these two friends apart

And although my position leaves me leathally caught

Bewilldered between these two beautiful spots

I can't help but think just how lucky i am

The center of attention for these TWO lovely fans.

Confusing? Yes I think so

It's so hard sometimes Megan,
easy to get confused

When she goes and chooses Clint
and her friends they do lose

You're right about one thing
I will always love you

Come rain, sleet, or hail
our friendship is true

P.s your pizza looked awesome last night
I only saw it for a sec

Because you left so incredibly quickly
and that made my emotions a reck!

So even though this is really confusing
this rhyme will be the last of this call

Clint may be a good radio host,
but dang it I coach volleyball!

Make Up Your Mind, Sisterrrrr

To Kelly:

By: Megan Bernardy

One day I’m nice and the other I’m not

Which one today , go figure, I forgot.

Of course I think I’m always a delight

Kell begs to differ, depends on the night.

But it’s OK, Kelly I will not blame,

For I mix it up, sometimes wild sometimes tame.

Nice or mean it doesn’t matter,

Friends till the end, skinny or fatter.

No matter the mood, the time, or the ditch,

Kelly loves me no matter what, angel or ________.

Getting Ditched by Megan

As I've read through our many different posts, and poems I can't help but notice that many of them are dedicated to Megan. Sometimes about her not talking to me, sometimes about her not wanting to hang out with me. Even though these many moments in our friendship cut deep, none quite as deep as this. It's hard to talk about, so the only way I think I can really express the hurt and anguish is through a creative and artistic expression of rhyme. So there it is..... I'll try to get it all out.

When I get ditched by Megan: By Kelly "heart broken" Richardson

How exciting it will be said Megan

When I got her phone call

Inviting me to the Courts,

to wach her play basketball

Of course I'll be there!

where else would I go?

I love watching you play,

I'm a big fan of yours you know!

So I sat there and watched,

so proud of her you see

I kind of felt like,

those baskets were for me!

Then she asked to go to dinner,

So we headed that way.

I was so pumped up for it,

Hang out more we just may

Then she ate so very quickly,

I didn't understand

Then she stood up and said peace,

I gotta go see that tall man!

You've got to be kidding me,

I probably got a sick looking tint,

You really are going to ditch me right now,

for a tall guy named Clint?

The cut was so deep,

in my poor little heart

I just wanted to hang out with my friend Megan,

but she was ready to part.

So I watched as she left,

and got further away

Tried to hold in my tears,

for another place and day.

So I'm writing this poem

to deal with the pain

My friend Megan loves that stupid boy more,

Oh yeah, you know his name!

(just in case you don't know his name it's Clint, and this is his picture!)

P.s. this picture is ridiculous! They look like they're taunting me! JERKS!

A Topical Adventure in Paradise: By Kelly Richardson
It was a bright sunny morning when we jumped in the car
And headed to Branson because it's not very far!
We had our swimsuites on, and smiles on our face
We were so excited to go visit this place
A fun and new world, where the sunshine was warm
Oh the fun we'd have while the water would swarm
Around and around we'd lay in that river
As we bronzed ourselves, oh yes every sliver
We kept the sandwhiches tucked safely away in the car
Even though they were in the parking lot we knew they weren't far!
So we twirled and we swirled around that amazing park
We knew that we could run and frolick straight through to dark
We found a round tube, and joyously rode the waves
Finding that tube was definitely Megan's fave!
Then off in the distance there was a dark dark sight
Rain clouds were coming, come this way they just might
But the rain could not take away our great day of fun
You see we'd already loved every moment of our day in the sun
The food that we packed, and the fun rides
From the big wave pools rippling tides
To the water that sometimes went where it wasn't supposed to go
To awesome speedos and tattoos that really put on a show!
So here is to our day of tropical adventure in paradise
White water you rock our faces off, we're telling no lies!
This poem is written in honor of the dedicated friends that chose to make my birthday wish a delight! You see these friends know that friendship is very important, especially when you have close friends, and that makes your friendship even friendlier. These are the kind of friends you want to keep for the rest of your life. Thats what true friendship is all about! So thank you close friends, for making this birthday one that I'll always remember!

Clint Hates Juno = A Sad, Sad Day for Megan

By: Megan Bernardy

My friend Clint, he is no freak.
He's got skills, on air he speaks.

The movie Juno, I told him to view.
He finally replied, "If I have to."

My heart instantly became full of joy,
Until my mood he chose to destroy.

"The movie is lame, boring and weak."
I was crushed, no words could I speak.

"It put me to sleep" he said to me,
"the longest nap in history!"

Clint gave Juno 2 thumbs down,
But I say Juno still wears the crown!

Long live Juno, there will be no sorrow,
Even if it gets bashed on the radio tomorrow.

He better not or my wrath he will feel,
And Clint's fate I will be forced to seal.

Enough with the rhymes, you understand,
Megan rules, the coolest in the land.

JUNO!

By: Megan Bernardy

I love Juno, yes I do
I love Juno and so should you,

I love the humor, the charm, the wit.
My friends think I am obsessed with it.

So what if I am, watch it I will,
One thousand times to get my fill.

In conclusion Beth, Kelly, Damo and Robb,
Leave Juno and me alone, and shut your freakin’ gob!

A shot to myself esteem

Heck No I'm not pregnant!...jerk
By: Megan Bernardy

The purchase of my shirt I thought worthwhile,
Until a man asked if I was with child.

No words could I mutter,
I only could stutter,

This type of shirt is in style?
